The ArborElectro Impedance Tomograph is designed for detecting the size and location of regions affected by active fungi. It operates based on electric resistivity measurements, utilizing up to 32 sensors positioned around the trunk. This device allows for the visualization of seasonal and daily changes (view the presentation here). Changes in resistivity, caused by variations in ionic concentration, can indicate fungi attacks even in their early stages.
