Introduction:

The  Permanent Magnetic Yoke Flaw Detector is designed for magnetic powder inspection. Its small, portable design eliminates the need for a power supply, making it ideal for use in workshops, laboratories, and environments where power is not available, including flammable and explosive settings.

Operating Principle:

The detector uses a strong magnetic field generated by a permanent magnet to magnetize the surface of ferromagnetic materials. This creates partial magnetic poles on or near the surface, causing high-quality magnetic powder to gather at flaw locations, thereby revealing the shape and situation of any flaws.

Structure Features:

• Adjustable Magnetic Pole Distance: The distance between the magnetic poles can be adjusted continuously from 50mm to 200mm.
• Rotatable Probe: The probe can rotate to detect flaws on various surfaces.
• Segmented and Partial Testing: Capable of working on large workpieces in segments or partially, ideal for high-altitude work or areas without power supply.

Operating Method:

1. Preparation: Before performing flaw detection, remove the fill iron and test the lifting power (>12kg) to ensure readiness.
2. Adjustment: Adjust the distance between the magnetic poles so the workpiece can touch the yoke according to detection requirements. For large workpieces, conduct segmented and partial tests.
3. Completion: After detection, short out the two yokes with the fill iron to make a loop control, reducing disturbances from the ground and external magnetic sources.

The DX-300 is a versatile and efficient tool for magnetic powder inspection, especially suited for challenging environments where conventional power sources are unavailable.
