At Inspectec, we strive to ensure you are completely satisfied with your purchase. If, for any reason, you need to return an item, our Returns and Refunds policy is designed to be simple and transparent.

1. Return Eligibility

You can return unused and unopened items within 30 days of receiving your order for a full refund or exchange. To qualify for a return:

  • The item must be in its original packaging.
  • It should be in the same condition as when you received it.
  • Non-returnable items include: custom or special-order products, used or modified items, and any item not in its original condition.

2. How to Start a Return

To initiate a return, follow these steps:

  1. Contact Us: Email us at sales@inspectec.co.nz or call 0273424497 to request a return authorisation (RA) number. Please include your order number and reason for return.
  2. Prepare the Return: Once authorised, carefully pack the item in its original packaging and include all accessories. Clearly mark the package with the RA number.
  3. Ship the Item: Ship the return to the address provided by our team. Please note that return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless the item is defective or we made an error.

3. Refund Policy

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you via email about the status of your refund.

  • Full Refund: If your return is approved, we will issue a refund to your original payment method within 7-10 business days.
  • Partial Refunds: In some cases, only partial refunds may be granted (e.g., items that are opened, damaged, or missing parts not due to our error).

4. Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need an exchange for the same item, please contact us at sales@inspectec.co.nz or call 027 3424497. We will assist you with the return and exchange process.

5. Defective or Damaged Products

If you receive a defective or damaged product, please contact us within 7 days of receiving the item. Provide your order number, along with photos of the damage or defect. We will work quickly to arrange for a replacement or refund.

6. Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received a refund after 10 business days:

  1. Check with your bank or credit card company, as it may take time for the refund to be posted.
  2. If you’ve checked and still haven’t received your refund, please contact us at sales@inspectec.co.nz or call 027 3424497, and we’ll assist further.

7. Return Shipping Costs

Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping unless:

  • The item was defective upon arrival.
  • We made an error with your order.
