Description
The TOMLIN INSTRUMENTS TPM5 Gen3 Precision Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge is a high-performance handheld inspection instrument designed for advanced non-destructive thickness measurement applications across industrial environments.
Using precision ultrasonic pulse-echo measurement technology, the PM5 Gen3 provides accurate thickness measurement for metallic and non-metallic materials, including coated surfaces, pipes, tanks, pressure vessels, plates, and precision-engineered components. The instrument supports a wide range of probe configurations and advanced measurement modes for demanding inspection tasks.
Designed for portability and reliability, the PM5 Gen3 features a rugged IP67-rated housing, high-resolution colour display, onboard data logging, waveform display modes, and advanced signal processing capabilities. The instrument supports multiple measurement functions including pulse-echo, echo-echo, coating through-coating measurement, corrosion inspection, and high-speed scanning applications.
The PM5 Gen3 also supports advanced application modules including oxide layer measurement, multilayer analysis, directional capture, Bluetooth communication, and optional four-channel multiplexing capability for specialised industrial inspection environments.
