The AWA5636 Class 2 Professional Noise Measurement Kit provides a complete, ready-to-use solution for workplace, machinery, industrial and environmental noise measurement.
Built around the AWA5636-2 Integrating Sound Level Meter, the kit adds an AWA6022A Class 2 Sound Calibrator and AWA8814 professional tripod, giving users the essential equipment required to measure, verify and document noise levels accurately in the field.
The AWA5636-2 provides integrating measurements including Leq, Lmax, Lmin and SEL, making this kit a significant step up from a basic sound level meter while remaining an affordable professional solution.

Why Choose the Professional Kit?
A sound level meter alone can measure noise, but professional surveys often require more than simply taking a reading.
This kit adds the two accessories most commonly required for professional field measurements:
Acoustic calibrator – allows the sound level meter to be checked immediately before and after a measurement.
Tripod – allows the instrument to be positioned consistently without reflections or interference caused by the operator holding the meter.
Together with the integrating AWA5636-2, this creates a practical measurement system suitable for routine professional noise surveys.
AWA5636-2 Integrating Sound Level Meter
The AWA5636-2 is the recommended version of the AWA5636 for most professional users.
Unlike the basic AWA5636-1, it provides integrating measurement, allowing average noise exposure over a defined period to be assessed.
Main Measurements
- Lp sound pressure level
- Leq equivalent continuous sound level
- Lmax
- Lmin
- SEL
- Sound exposure E
- Leq,T

AWA6022A Class 2 Sound Calibrator
The included AWA6022A allows the sound level meter to be checked in the field before and after measurements.
It provides two selectable acoustic calibration levels:
- 94 dB @ 1 kHz
- 114 dB @ 1 kHz
The calibrator complies with IEC 60942 Class 2 and is specifically suited to Class 2 noise measurement systems.
AWA8814 Professional Tripod
The included tripod provides a stable mounting platform for longer-duration or unattended measurements.
Using a tripod helps:
- Maintain a consistent measurement position
- Reduce movement during measurements
- Keep the meter away from the operator
- Reduce reflections caused by holding the instrument
- Improve repeatability between measurements
- Support longer environmental and workplace surveys
