Theory: This tester uses a specific shape steel indenter to press into the workpiece surface through a test force caused by a load spring. The measurement is taken when the supporting foot is close to the workpiece surface, recording the extension length of the indenter.

Applications: Ideal for testing the hardness of aluminum, aluminum alloys, fiber-reinforced plastics, and other rigid plastics with a valid testing range equivalent to Brinell hardness 25-150HBW.
